  General Notes:

Gilbert was in the Civil War for 2 months and came home with pneumonia and died. At the funeral, his wife caught measles and died 2 weeks later and also the baby. This left three children who were each claimed by uncles on both sides of the families. The uncle who given guardianship, sold the estate and turned the children out
