General Notes:
James Clarke Jr. was a minuteman at the Battle of Bunker Hill and served all through the Revolutionary War. He served six days in Lexington Alarm under Captain John Chester. He served in the Continental Army three years, enlisting from Hartford, Connecticut and was a prisoner on Long Island in May of 1788. His first enlistment from Wetherfield, Connecticut. 43
James married Jemima ROBINS BFR 1768. (Jemima ROBINS was born about 1747 and died in 1814 in Granville, Washington, New York, USA.)
