Swin came to the U.S.A. with Olaf and Swenborg and their family. He died sometime after 1885, and was buried on the Swenson Family Farm, Olaf Swenson's older brother had immigrated to the U.S.A. just after the Civil War. His name was John Johnson. His daughter, Mary Johnson McCammon, and her daughter, Lottie Irene McCammon Greer, maintained a close familial relationship with the Olaf and Swenborg Swenson family. They, of course, maintained that Johnson was the correct surname for the family, so there is a possibility that Johnson was the surname in Sweden. All American records use Swenson or Swinson. His son Olaf's will was signed Olaf Swinson.
